Romance, laced with danger.
Since March 2024, Alessandro Michele has led the Maison's creative direction — pulling Valentino into a quieter, more tactile register without losing the romance. Pre-Fall 2026 was shot at Cy Twombly's Palazzo in Bassano in Teverina by Johnny Dufort: satin and lace colliding with leather and sequins, Rockstud hardware reimagined in metal-capped squared toes, the DeVain shoulder bag already in nearly fifty iterations.

Voce Viva debuted in 2020 as Lady Gaga's égérie — the flagship women's eau de parfum and the first Valentino fragrance designed entirely in-house. Born in Roma followed in 2019 for Donna and Uomo, with Born in Roma Intense in 2023 and Purple Melancholia in 2025. Makeup built around the Valentino red, in couture packaging designed to belong on a vanity long after the last spritz.
